Crawford Knott has concentrated his practice over the last forty-plus years in tax planning engagements for small businesses, individuals, estates, and trusts since joining the accounting firm in January 1978.

Crawford was mentored by the firm’s founding partner George W. Holden, Jr., that in order to effectively serve the general public that first, you need to listen and fully understand the client’s particular situation and lifetime objectives.

Crawford is presently working with some third-generation clientele. He was admitted as a firm partner in June 1985.

Crawford has worked intensively with other professionals over the years to develop and implement comprehensive business and estate transitions, which have achieved numerous charitable and personal financial goals for the firm’s clients.

Crawford helps clients with business type selection and continuation, whether it should be operating as a partnership, C Corporation, S Corporation, proprietorship, or Limited Liability Company.
